Christine Nash is currently Head of the Institute for Sport, Physical Education and Health Sciences at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, Honorary Professor, Institute for Advanced Study, Technical University of Munich in Germany and also Programme Director for our online MSc in Sport Coaching and Performance. She was a National Swimming Coach in the UK and coached in the USA. She is currently involved in supporting coach education with a variety of sports. She was a member of the Coaching Standards Group, the committee that endorses coach education courses in the UK. She also sits on the research committee of the International Council for Coaching Excellence. Dr. Nash is an accomplished scholar in coaching education and coach development and the editor of Practical Sports Coaching.

Since 1985 John has been working for the National Governing Body of the sport, USA Volleyball (USAV), now as Director of Sport Development. He currently serves as the staff liaison for Disabled Programs, USA Deaflympic Teams, Starlings USA, National Parks and Recreation Association., the YMCA and over 30 other Affiliated Organizations working with USAV. He is Secretary of the NORCECA Technical and Coaches Commission, and Director of Development for World ParaVolley. He was Team Leader for the 2000 USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Teams in Sydney, which brought home one gold medal, and for the 2004 USA Paralympic Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team in Athens, which came home with the bronze medal. In 1995, Volleyball Magazine’s special Centennial issue named him one of the 50 most important people in the sport in the past 100 years. In 2013 the American Volleyball Coaches Association inducted him as their 60th member of the AVCA Coaches Hall of Fame. Most recently, in 2019 John was awarded the the Frier, the highest honor from USA Volleyball, based on his tremendous influence in the world of volleyball across all three disciplines, indoor, beach and sitting. The Journey from Player to Coach: A Conversation
Frank Serratore
United States Air Force Academy, Men's Hockey Coach

Frank Serratore has spent the last 22 seasons as the head hockey coach at the United States Air Force Academy and is the fourth head coach in the programs 50 year history. He is one of just 21 coaches in the history of NCAA hockey with 400 or more wins at a Division I institution, and one of just five active coaches. He has turned the Falcon into a legitimate national contender, with seven conference championships and seven NCAA appearances in the last 12 years. Over the last 10 years, Air Force has beaten a team ranked in the top five in the nation nine times.
A former collegiate and semi-pro player, Coach Serratore has been coaching professionally since 1982. He has coached at both the university and professional level as well as with USA Hockey’s developmental program. His coaching accomplishments include earning the United States Hockey League Coach of the Year award and leaded teams to three Anderson Cups (league champions) and two Clark Cups (playoff championships). In international play, Serratore lead the US Men’s U17 team to gold at the Five Nations Tournament in Slovakia in 2003.
Serratore holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Bemidji State University and a master’s degree in athletic administration/physical education from the University of North Dakota.
A native of Coleraine, Minnesota, Coach Serratore, is married to the former Carol Samec. They have four children, twin boys Tom and Tim and two daughters, Carly and Carina.
