Coach Educator/ Coach Developer Legacy Award

Award Nomination

Applications will be accepted until February 28

The United States Center for Coaching Education's Coach Educator/ Coach Developer Legacy Award was established in 2017 to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the field of sport coaching education and coach development in the United States.  The award is given annually when a deserving applicant has been identified.   Please visit the Legacy Hall of Fame to view previous award inductees.

The 2022 Legacy Award winner will be announced at the 2022 North American Coach Development Summit and will be invited to the North American Coach Developer Summit and will be honored at the Summit's opening reception in 2022. 

Self nominations and peer nominations are encouraged. 

Completed nomination applications are due February 28, 2022. 

 

Nominees must be a coach educator/coach developer who has:

  • Been involved in the profession for a minimum of 20 years.

  • Made significant contributions to academic and/or professional practice knowledge in coaching education and coaching science as evidenced by a distinguished record of academic publications, applied publications, the development of outstanding educational materials and programs, and/or via major contributions to sport organizations.

  • Provided significant to service to professional organizations in coach education/coach development within the United States.
